This season I was interested to see what Pam Hogg would bring to the catwalk, especially since I knew she’d designed the Brit Awards this year. For anyone not in the know, Pam Hogg is a strong advocate of great social injustices and brings them into her collections. In this collection is seems she’s turned over a new leaf and shown the fashion world she’s not just a one trick pony, bringing some fabulous rock and roll couture glamour chic down the runway – this is a collection to remember.
Of course, it’s not Pam Hogg if she’s not shocking people with her all in one, leather numbers, but she also bring some shear panelling with stars and a barely coverable part for the lady parts. A 70’s vibe was strong within this collection too, with lots of vibrant and psychedelic colours and prints splashed into this strong collection. Gorgeous separate pieces, that could be picked out and glammed up with something more casual, even a gorgeous print gown worthy of an Award event.
I have a few of my own personal favourites from the collection, these are just pure standouts for me. I’m all about the visual and how I imagine it could be worn, the leather long studded coat is just divine. Along with the blue, white and gold print dress, finishing off with the yellow and black shoulder pad styled jacket.
