As one fashion week begins, another has ended. New York fashion week always sets off the season of a fashion extravaganza, I’ve always enjoyed what New York brings to the scene of fashion. Scrolling through Social Media, I’ve spotted a few designers who really stood out to me. I decided to create my own set of highlights for New York before I start reporting on London, check out my favourites below with some of my thoughts.
Easy breezy beautiful, this collection explores and gives glorious joy with intense silky movements. Daring prints mixed with flowing dresses or pant trousers, using an array of colours from luscious ruby red to muted floral white.
Sophisticated elegant and daring, Parbal Gurung shows off his style is muted tones but takes it one step further. Using what the industry deems as plus size models, showing off a range of women who can wear their clothing. Simply stunning.
Red carpet madness, well Marchesa do it again. They show off their oscar winning extravaganza dresses, from the understated black sequin to the over top frills and extravagant dress that everyone talks about, an outfit that fits for all types of women and occasion, just what you need.
There’s plenty of others over New York Fashion Week that I enjoyed such as The Blondes, Christian Siriano, and a few others, but let’s face it. I can’t show everyone in this article, otherwise, I’d be here for quite sometime, but it makes me look forward to London Fashion Week.
